Boarding

Kennel and Pens:

Countryside Canines features a newly built heated/cooled, 17 run, indoor-outdoor kennel that offers each boarding dog their own indoor space. Each pen is 4' wide by 6' long, with a 2 ' X 3 ' bed, eating area, and access to outside through a special galvanized spring loaded door. This leads out to an individual outdoor run 4' wide x 15' long.

Exercise Area:

For daily exercise we offer a large half acre fenced area where the dogs can run and play. Special attention is made to ensure that dogs are placed with similar personalities and age.

What to Bring:

Dog food - Be sure to bring enough food for your dogs entire visit
Dog Blanket - To place in bed for security and warmth
Dog Dishes - Some dogs won't eat out of strange dishes
Dog Toys & Treats - These will make your pet feel more at home!

Rates:

$14.00 per calendar day. A CALENDAR DAY = 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drop off and pick-up times: Mornings: Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.(unless otherwise arranged) Evenings: Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise arranged).

Requirements:

We require proof of updated vaccinations from your veterinarian and also a recent Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccination. We also require the pet owner to sign a " Boarding and Instructions Agreement" for Countryside Canines.

Special Situations and Precautions:

Special care is taken to make sure that your pet is put in a pen beside a canine neighbor they like, to avoid any unnecessary stress. We will administer medications if necessary ($l.50/day) Dogs that show aggression will not be socialized and owner will be advised. A radio is played to relax the pets. For any emergencies that may arise, we take the pet to their own veterinarian as indicated in the boarding agreement (If possible) Otherwise the pet is taken to a 24 hour animal hospital used by the Kennel. At the owners expense.
